Stakeholderdialog Biobased Industry

Bioeconomy Austria visits Vienna

Current research and development activities on the topic of “Biobased Industry” were the focus of the Stakeholder Dialogue Biobased Industry on 5 December 2022 in Vienna. The event was organised by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) in cooperation with the Austrian Chemical Industry Association (FCIO).

At the event, research and development activities in the field of “biobased industry” from the current RTI initiatives of the BMK and the Circular Biobased Europe Joint Undertaking were presented. The BMK’s “Stakeholder Dialogue Biobased Industry” series of events offers actors from business, science, associations and politics in the field of biobased industry a platform for networking and exchanging experiences.

The Bioeconomy Austria project was presented by representatives of Business Upper Austria, ecoplus and the Ecosocial Forum Austria & Europe at a market stand. The focus of this year’s event was on the topic of “bio-based high tech”. ÖGUT supported the conception and organisation of the event. The entire programme of the dialogue and the presentation documents for download can be found here.
