Ecosocial Forum Austria & Europe

Project communications

For the Austrian Bioeconomy Cluster Bioeconomy Austria, the Ecosocial Forum is responsible for coordinating public relations as well as maintaining the nationwide network, and takes the lead on the initiative addressing resource use conflicts along value chains.

The Ecosocial Forum Austria & Europe is an independent platform and think tank committed to advancing a sustainable economic and societal model at both Austrian and European level. To ensure an evidence-based discourse that incorporates the latest research, the Forum is supported by a scientific advisory board.

In the field of bioeconomy, the Ecosocial Forum can already draw on extensive experience: among others, through its contribution to the Austrian Bioeconomy Strategy, the publication of numerous studies, and its role as hub leader for Austria and Germany in the Horizon 2020 project BLOOM (2017–2020), which strengthened awareness and knowledge of the bioeconomy across Europe.
