With its forestry and timber industry, Salzburg has had an economic “plus” for a long time. In 2000, the wood cluster was founded on the initiative of the Salzburg provincial government. Clusters are networks of a value chain that represent a special field of strength in a region. Our leitmotif Is: “Moving more together – with the power of the small”! Accordingly, our focus is on Salzburg’s SMEs. We initiate the cooperation of woodworking and wood processing companies and create a thriving environment for economic development.
