The Bavarian Forest and Wood Cluster Initiative connects companies along the value chain forest – wood – paper, scientific institutions and politics. The aim of the cluster work is in particular to create access to network partners and markets for companies and to foster the exchange of know-how between practice and science.
Due to the large number of protagonists along the value chain, competitiveness can be increased if all partners join a solid network: “Growing together” is the guiding principle for developing sustainable solutions for the forestry an the wood and paper based industries.
