On October 6, 2026, Graz will become a meeting point for international innovations in the bioeconomy: at Tech Tour Forest Bioeconomy 2026, selected start-ups and scale-ups will have the opportunity to present their solutions to leading investors and industry partners.
The event is organized as part of the Bioeconomy Austria initiative and implemented together with international partners, including the Styrian Wood Cluster (Holzcluster Steiermark). The goal is to showcase innovative companies along the forest-based bioeconomy value chain and connect them with capital and industry.
Focus Areas
Innovative companies are particularly sought in the following fields:
- Sustainable Forestry & Wood Tech
- Wood-based and bio-based construction and material solutions
- Bio-based chemicals and industrial applications
- Textiles and consumer products made from wood
- Circular use of wood, biomass, and bioenergy

A total of 24 companies will be selected for the event.
