WoodPoP Dara Award

WoodPoP’s Dara Award is highlighting outstanding timber construction projects across Europe and showcasing the role of wood as a sustainable building material. With the launch of the Hall of Fame, the opening of public voting, and the upcoming awards ceremony in Prague, the initiative is now entering an important new phase.

WoodPoP Dara Hall of Fame now live

A major milestone in the award process is the launch of the WoodPoP Dara Hall of Fame, a curated platform presenting some of Europe’s most outstanding timber construction projects. The Hall of Fame celebrates excellence, innovation, sustainability, and the transformative potential of wood in the built environment. It brings together remarkable achievements that point toward a more sustainable and inspiring future for our communities.

Public voting for the People’s Choice Award

At the same time, public voting for the Dara People’s Choice Award is now open. Visitors are invited to explore the projects featured in the Hall of Fame and cast their vote for the one that inspires them most. This public element adds another layer to the initiative, connecting the showcased projects with a broader audience and encouraging engagement with timber architecture across Europe.

Awards ceremony in Prague

The journey will culminate in the inaugural WoodPoP Dara Awards Ceremony, which will take place on 26 November 2026 in Prague. The event will bring together project teams, policymakers, industry leaders, and members of the WoodPoP community to celebrate excellence and recognise this year’s award recipients. Further details regarding the programme and registration will follow in the coming weeks.

Together, these steps underline the growing importance of timber construction in advancing sustainability and innovation across Europe. Further information can be found on the website:
