The Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws) has launched a new funding call for “Investments in the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural Products.” Applications are open until 15 December 2026.
The call targets companies involved in the processing and marketing of agricultural products, including large enterprises. Its aim is to support investments that help businesses transition towards future-oriented and sustainable structures.
Projects are eligible for funding if they contribute to at least one of the following key transformation priorities:
- Digitalization & automation
- Decarbonization & energy efficiency
- Value creation from by-products & circular economy
- Resilience, security of supply & plant- and animal-based protein supply
Funding Framework and Selection Process
A total budget of up to EUR 12 million has been allocated for this funding call. The maximum grant amount is EUR 1 million per project.
Submitted projects will be evaluated according to a predefined assessment scheme and ranked based on the number of points achieved. Reaching a minimum score is a prerequisite for receiving funding. If the available budget is insufficient to support all positively evaluated projects, funding decisions will be made according to the project ranking.
