Model circular systems for regional bio-based value creation
The goal is to establish bio-based circular systems in manageable economic regions. We identify synergies between companies in rural-urban areas and develop replicable pilot projects — as a foundation for broader regional implementation.

Ongoing Activities
- Study on the significance and potential of the bioeconomy in Tyrol — completion by end of June 2026, with a focus on the districts of Kufstein and Kitzbühel (conducted by the University of Innsbruck)
- Online survey of manufacturing companies headquartered in Tyrol (open until May 24, 2026)
- Development of concrete recommendations for action together with companies and stakeholders in the region

- Presentation and discussion of study results in summer/autumn 2026
- Establishment of initial model circular systems to increase regional value creation and resilience (in preparation)
