With the programme aws Growth Investment (SME & Technology), Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH supports investment projects by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that aim to reduce or replace fossil-based materials and raw materials in production processes.
The programme particularly supports investments that substitute conventional fossil-based materials—for example replacing artificial coatings with natural, renewable materials, or integrating bio-based raw materials into production processes.
The call targets SMEs implementing growth and innovation projects to strengthen their market position. Support is available both for companies developing new sustainable solutions and for businesses already producing (intermediate) products based on renewable raw materials, enabling them to expand production and further establish sustainable alternatives in the market.
The call is open to SMEs located in Upper Austria and Lower Austria.
Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis until 30 June 2027.
