On 25 November 2025, the Bioeconomy Innovation Day 2025 will take place in Lleida, Catalonia (Spain). The focus will be on innovation pitches featuring advanced bio-based materials that contribute to the green transformation of key economic sectors. Innovative solutions will be presented for industries such as construction, manufacturing, packaging, and consumer goods. The event is jointly organized by the Government of Catalonia, ACCIÓ, the Bioregions Facility, and the European Forest Institute.

Start-ups, companies, and researchers developing innovative bio-based materials and products are invited to present their solutions to a diverse audience of investors, industry leaders, and public institutions: key actors driving the bioeconomy in Catalonia and beyond.
We are looking for approaches that, for example,
- • promote the use of materials from green chemistry or other biomass-based modification processes (e.g., through heat, pressure),
- • offer sustainable alternatives for sectors such as construction, manufacturing, packaging, and consumer goods,
- • strengthen the circular economy and reduce dependence on fossil resources.
