Innovative ideas for the use of wood were the focus of the “woodCircle Innovation”, the first networking event within the framework of the thinkWood programme of the BML. Around 80 experts from politics, administration, business, research and science met for networking, professional exchange and to find out about the research projects implemented to date.
The main objectives of the woodCircle on 14 December 2022 were:
- Exchange on what has been achieved so far
- Space for discussion of new ideas, networking and development of agreed recommendations for action
- Identification of future trends and development of proposals for strategic priorities and political discourse
- Impulses for innovative cross-sectoral developments in the sense of the wood-based bioeconomy and the circular economy
