The Austrian Forest Dialogue of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, in cooperation with the Forest Policy Research Network of the European Forest Institute, cordially invites to the upcoming webinar.
The event will focus on how forests and their value chains can be made more resilient. This is in response to the increasing forest damage in Austria, which highlights the critical importance of resilient forest ecosystems – meaning forests that can withstand disturbances while maintaining their ecological functions. The webinar will discuss concrete measures and projects aimed at strengthening this resilience. Insights from the EU project RESONATE and practical forestry experiences will be shared and discussed.
