accent is the high-tech incubator of the province of Lower Austria and supports innovation-driven founders in designing their ideas as scalable products, developing them step by step, successfully placing them on the market, and scaling them up. With the creation of accent Makerspace 2021, accent has laid the foundation for experimental hands-on practice. As a physical home for university spin-offs and a creative “garage” for clean tech innovators, accent promotes the international orientation of business ideas and helps shape a series of EU projects focusing on innovation in clean technologies, new materials, renewable energies, agricultural technologies, bioeconomy, agri-tech, and green chemistry. In addition to 1:1 coaching, workshops, support in submitting grant applications, and knowledge transfer, high-tech start-ups and scale-ups also have access to infrastructure, machinery, tools, farmland, warehouses, and other test areas.
