EU CAP Network Brokerage Event

The EU CAP Network brokerage event “From practice to impact: building Horizon Europe collaborations for agriculture and rural areas” will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 5–6 November 2026.

The event is designed to support the development of high-quality Horizon Europe Cluster 6 and Mission Soil proposals for 2027, particularly topics that require a multi-actor approach. Participants will have the opportunity to present project ideas, meet potential partners and build new collaborations across Europe.

Key thematic areas

The programme will focus on several priorities linked to agriculture, rural innovation and soil health:

  • agrobiodiversity and sustainable agricultural practices
  • resilience and competitiveness of farming systems
  • climate-smart and clean farming
  • Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS)
  • healthy soils

The event will also highlight additional European, national and regional funding opportunities for innovation in agriculture, forestry and rural areas.

Participation and Registration

The event will bring together a broad range of stakeholders, including farmers, rural community representatives, advisors, innovation brokers, researchers, Operational Groups and rural entrepreneurs.

Funding organisations including the EIC, EIT and CBE JU, as well as EU research and innovation partnerships, networks and National CAP Networks, will also be represented.

The event is particularly relevant for those who want to join a future Horizon Europe proposal or already have a project idea and are looking for suitable partners. The programme will include project pitches, matchmaking opportunities and meetings with potential collaborators.

The applications are open until 14 August 2026.
