Submissions for the ÖGUT Environmental Award 2026 are now open. Through this award, ÖGUT (Austrian Society for Environment and Technology) honors individuals and organizations that make a successful contribution to a climate-friendly, sustainable, and future-oriented economy and society.
Prize money totaling EUR 40,000 will be awarded across six categories and two special awards. The submission deadline is Monday, 13 July 2026.
The nominees will be announced in early October 2026. The award ceremony will take place as part of the ÖGUT Annual Reception 2026.
Submissions are possible in the following categories:
- Women* in Environmental Technology – Junior and Senior
- Sustainable Municipality
- Participation and Civic Engagement
- Climate-Neutral City
- Research & Innovation for a Circular Economy
- Companies on the Path to a Circular Economy
- Energypark Research Foundation Special Award
- Special Award by the magazines BUSINESSART and LEBENSART
