On 1–2 June 2026, the presentation of current results from 16 Waldfonds research projects in the fields of forest engineering and logistics will take place in the ceremonial hall of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). The event is organized as part of the Austrian Forest Dialogue by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management (BMLUK), in cooperation with the Federal Research Centre for Forests and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
Over the past four years, the Waldfonds projects have generated a wide range of new scientific and practice-oriented findings for the sustainable management of Austrian forests under the challenges of climate change. The event offers the opportunity to gain a consolidated overview of the latest results from the 16 projects. Researchers will present their work and showcase innovative approaches in the fields of forest engineering and logistics.
