The Alpine region is facing profound economic and technological changes. The EU project RECENTRE provides concrete support in this context: companies in the Interreg Alpine Space region have the opportunity to develop tailored transformation plans free of charge – co-funded by the EU and supported with a strong practical focus.
RECENTRE supports companies in the Alpine region in developing and implementing ambitious green, digital and human-centred transformation projects in line with Industry 5.0. By participating, companies receive support from experts to identify their specific transformation needs and to develop an individual transformation plan based on these insights. The process is hands-on, uses proven methods and is structured around the development of a project outline. In addition, companies can access advisory services with the possibility of financial support of up to €10,000.
Target groups: Companies and experts
The call is primarily aimed at Austrian companies in the fields of bioeconomy, mechatronics, automotive and automation. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but mid-caps and larger companies in the Alpine region are also invited to participate. Companies can either apply directly or contribute as expert partners and support other organisations with their know-how.
Companies with expertise in transformation processes towards Industry 5.0 are also encouraged to participate. They can register via an expression of interest form to become part of the RECENTRE expert pool. They will then be matched with SMEs, mid-caps or larger companies that require support in their transformation processes. This collaboration is supported by RECENTRE and includes access to advisory services as well as financial support under the same conditions.
