As part of the Circular Economy Summit Austria, we invite you to join an interactive workshop on 7 May 2026 focusing on the sustainable use of agricultural and forestry by-products. The event will take place at the Styrian Chamber of Commerce in Graz (Wirtschaftskammer Steiermark(.
Residual materials such as bark, corn straw and corn cobs hold significant yet often underutilised potential for innovative applications in the bioeconomy. In the workshop “Added Value from By-Products: Wood Chips, Corn Straw and Corn Cobs in Focus”, participants from industry and practice will explore opportunities and potential new ways of valorising and utilising these resources.
In an open and collaborative format, we will discuss existing challenges, exchange experiences and develop ideas for circular value chains that combine ecological and economic benefits. The aim is to identify perspectives for higher-value uses of biogenic residues and to initiate new collaborations.
The workshop is aimed at companies, start-ups, agricultural and forestry stakeholders, as well as anyone interested in shaping innovative solutions in the field of the circular bioeconomy.
More information will be available on this website soon.
