The increased population in combination with the high consumption of materials leads to many problems, such as climate change. The goal of sustainable bioeconomy is to cover the material demand with renewable materials in future. Renewable raw materials grow in large quantities every year due to photosynthesis, while formation of all other materials, such as fossils or minerals, take millions of years. The efficient design of processes in a regenerative circular economy with reduced raw material demand is the base for a sustainable bioeconomy.” – Martin Greimel, Head of the Centre for Bioeconomy at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna

[:de] … Die effiziente Gestaltung von Prozessen in einer regenerativen Kreislaufwirtschaft mit stark gesenktem Rohstoffbedarf ist die Grundlage für eine nachhaltige Bioökonomie.[:en]” … The efficient design of processes in a regenerative circular economy with reduced raw material demand is the base for a sustainable bioeconomy.”[:]

© Martin Greimel

Martin Greimel

Center for Bioeconomy (BOKU)

["post-3521","zitate","type-zitate","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":
["GET
