As the hub for innovation and project development, it has identified regional needs, explored technological approaches and initiated new innovation projects. Expert events and workshops – for example on bio-based adhesives or the use of lignin as a material – have helped connect businesses with research institutions and led to the development of several research and innovation projects.

ecoplus has also contributed significantly to building the Bioeconomy Austria brand and helped establish it as the national bioeconomy cluster.
