The focus will be on innovation pitches featuring advanced bio-based materials that contribute to the green transformation of key economic sectors. Innovative solutions will be presented for industries such as construction, manufacturing, packaging, and consumer goods. The event is jointly organized by the Government of Catalonia, ACCI\u00d3, the Bioregions Facility, and the European Forest Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apply now:<\/strong><br>Start-ups, companies, and researchers developing innovative bio-based materials and products are invited to present their solutions to a diverse audience of investors, industry leaders, and public institutions: key actors driving the bioeconomy in Catalonia and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for approaches that, for example,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2022 promote the use of materials from green chemistry or other biomass-based modification processes (e.g., through heat, pressure),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2022 offer sustainable alternatives for sectors such as construction, manufacturing, packaging, and consumer goods,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2022 strengthen the circular economy and reduce dependence on fossil resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadlines &amp; Application:<\/strong><br>Submissions will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. The application deadline is <strong>15 September 2025<\/strong>.
