The aim of the call is to <strong>strengthen the sustainable wood sector<\/strong> and support innovative <strong>solutions<\/strong> for <strong>climate action, the circular economy<\/strong> and the <strong>future-oriented use of wood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is eligible for funding?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding is available for collaborative research and development projects focusing on the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Timber construction systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Sustainability and life cycle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Wood-based energy infrastructure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Digitalisation of the forest\u2013wood supply chain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Substitution of energy-intensive construction materials, basic materials and other materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects must address at least one of these priority areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible applicants include (non-profit) associations, universities of applied sciences, research institutions, large enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), competence centres and universities.
