{"id":11073,"date":"2026-06-03T08:50:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T06:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bioeconomy-austria.at\/?p=11073"},"modified":"2026-06-03T09:23:45","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T07:23:45","slug":"phosphorbewirtschaftung-im-fokus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bioeconomy-austria.at\/en\/2026\/06\/03\/phosphorbewirtschaftung-im-fokus\/","title":{"rendered":"Phosphorus Management in Focus"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">24 June | 10:00 a.m. \u2013 4:00 p.m.<br>FH Upper Austria <br>Stelzhamerstra\u00dfe 23 | 4600 Wels, Lecture Hall 009, ground floor, Building A<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the successful kick-off event <strong>\u201cPhosphorus | KARL &amp; Co\u201d<\/strong>, which brought together around <strong>50 participants<\/strong> on <strong>28 April in Linz<\/strong>, the event series is now entering its next round: On <strong>24 June 2026<\/strong>, the second workshop <strong>\u201cPhosphorus | KARL &amp; Co | #2\u201d<\/strong> will take place at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Wels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is part of a <strong>four-part event series<\/strong> within the framework of the <strong>BIOECONOMY AUSTRIA Initiative<\/strong> on innovation needs in phosphorus management and is being led by <strong>Business Upper Austria, Cleantech Cluster<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the first workshop, key topics were identified that will now be further developed together with the participants and translated into concrete next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Content of the Second Workshop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop will focus on the following key topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establishment of an <strong>Austrian phosphorus platform<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Economic viability and business case<\/strong>: technologies, references, experiences and costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technology pathways<\/strong>: technological and economic advantages and disadvantages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Regulatory clarity<\/strong>: quality assurance  (fertiliser legislation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of necessary <strong>solution-oriented research projects<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants can look forward to a programme featuring <strong>experts<\/strong>, engaging presentations and opportunities for active participation. The aim is to jointly further develop the topics that have emerged and to define the next steps in more detail. The full agenda will follow shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target Group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop is aimed at professionals who deal with <strong>bioeconomy and phosphorus management<\/strong> in their professional context.
